My printer has streaks on its output ENVY 7855 Printer

My printer leaves streaks on printed output. It is an ENVY 7855.

1. Check Ink Levels

• Ensure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Low ink levels can cause streaking.
• Replace any cartridges that are low or empty.

2. Clean the Printheads

• Your printer may have an automatic printhead cleaning feature that you can access via the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app.
• To clean the printheads manually:
  1. On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Tools > Clean Printhead.
  2. The printer will print a test page. If streaks still appear, you may need to perform the cleaning process 2-3 times.

3. Align the Printheads

• Misaligned printheads can also cause streaks.
• To align the printheads:
  1. On the printer's control panel, navigate to Settings > Tools > Align Printer.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.

4. Use High-Quality Paper

• Ensure you're using the recommended type of paper for your printer. Low-quality paper can contribute to streaking.

5. Update Printer Firmware

6. Manually Clean the Printhead Nozzles

• Carefully remove the printhead and gently clean it with a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water. Avoid touching the electrical contacts.

7. Check Printer Settings

• In the print dialog, choose the appropriate paper type and quality settings.

8. Perform a Test Print

• After performing the above steps, print a test page to see if the streaks are gone.
