Hi @MPS2025, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your HP Ink Tank 319 is printing very lightly, which usually indicates an issue with ink levels, clogged printheads, or incorrect print settings. Try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check Ink Levels
- Ensure that the ink tanks have enough ink.
- If any tank is low, refill it with genuine HP ink.
Run Printhead Cleaning
- On your PC, open the HP Printer Assistant or HP Smart app.
- Navigate to Printhead Cleaning and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Print a Nozzle Check Pattern to verify improvements.
Align the Printhead
- Open the HP Printer software.
- Select Maintain Your Printer > Align Printhead.
- Follow the instructions and check if the print quality improves.
Check Print Settings
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select Printing Preferences.
- Ensure Best Quality or Normal mode is selected instead of Draft.
- Make sure the paper type matches what you're using.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for 5 minutes, then reconnect and turn it on.
Clean Printhead Manually (If Needed)
If automatic cleaning does not improve the quality, you may need to clean the printhead manually:
- Remove the ink cartridges.
- Use a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water to wipe the printhead nozzles.
- Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
