We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Printer is stuck on "Validating," try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Download and install the latest firmware from HP's official website.
  • You can also update the firmware via the HP Smart app.

3. Reset the Printer to Default Settings

  • Go to the Setup menuPrinter MaintenanceRestore Defaults.
  • Select Restore Factory Defaults and confirm.

4. Reinstall the Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the printer from your computer.
  • Download the latest drivers from HP's support page and reinstall them.

5. Check Network Connection

  • If using Wi-Fi, restart your router and ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
  • If using Ethernet, try another port or cable.

6. Perform a Semi-Full Reset (If Needed)

This reset erases all settings but can fix persistent issues.

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cable.
  • Hold down the Power button and the Wi-Fi button simultaneously.
  • While holding, plug the power cable back in and release the buttons when the HP logo appears.

If the issue persists, let me know, and I can guide you further! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
