I keep getting blue ink printing on my normal documents which should be black.  Have followed all troubleshooting steps (the print box shows blank on the black ink cartridge) including putting in a new black cartridge........what oh what could be WRONG!?  And is it fixable!

Hello Duckie5,

Please click HERE to access the steps that should resolve the issue . Also check if you have the removed the cartridge packaging etc as described in the document.

Kindly perform the beow step for atleast 3 times.

On the printer control panel,
1> touch Settings, then
2> touch Tools, then
3> touch Clean Printhead

If issue still persists, iam afraid your printer need to be serviced as the printhead is a fixed part in the printer.

You may have to call HP Tech Support for further assistance (USA - 1-800-474-6836 )
