If this happens only with the black then you be suffering from Black ink Fade, which is caused by black pigment separating from the liquid carrier and settling and clogging the black print elements. Later ink formulations were developed to limit this issue and the only way to fix is to ensure that you have the upgraded ink, current firmware and then print 100 solid black edge to edge pages. Any cartridge expiry date that is April 2022 or older is the old formulation of ink and must be replaced.
