Product: HP Officejet 6500a Plus
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Office  jet 6500A keeps asking me to load paper. The tray is full. When I assist it, the printer will grab about 4-5 sheets at a time. I've cleaned the rollers , rebooted. Nothing seems to be working. Help!

I see that your printer does not feed paper and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. 

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays for HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-One Printer Series and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
