My printer says I'm out of colored ink. I went to refill it at Costco. They weighed the cartridge and said it's over 1/2 full and they won't fill it when it's that full. I tried cleaning the area and it didn't do a thing.

- What model printer do you use?
- If the printer's firmware has been updated lately, it may or may not read/accept the refilled ink cartridges.
- Using a HP genuine ink cartridge may resolve this issue.
Let us try these steps for now:
Step 1: Reset the printer
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
