Hi @mcdowawx ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing persistent issues with the battery on your HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-In-One Printer, despite re-installing several times. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

  • Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, updates can resolve battery-related issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Reset the Printer: Perform a reset of the printer to see if it helps clear the error. To do this, you typically need to turn off the printer, disconnect the power cable, wait for about 1 minute, and then reconnect the power cable and turn the printer back on.
  • Check Battery Contacts: Ensure that the battery contacts on both the printer and the battery itself are clean and free of any dust or debris. Sometimes poor contact can cause battery-related errors.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
