I am attempting to align my ink cartridges on my HP deskjet 3755 but there is no option to align printer under options and supplies in system preferences for the printer but my epson printer has that option on the same OS. My pictures print with faint lines across them. You can tell where the ink cartridge is going back and forth while printing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand that you are trying to align the printer cartridges.
Use HP Utility to align the ink cartridges from your Mac.
-
Load plain white paper into the input tray.
-
Click the Apple
menu, and then click System Preferences.
-
Depending on your version of OS X, click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
-
In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.
-
Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility.
HP Utility opens.
-
Click Align
.
-
On the Align Print Cartridges window, click Align.
The printer prints an alignment page with rows of numbered boxes. Each box on the page consists of two sets of lines.
Figure: Alignment page
-
On the alignment page, find the box in row A in which the two sets of lines overlap the most, for example, A10.
Figure : Finding the box with overlapping lines
-
In the printer software, select that box from the A drop-down list.
-
Repeat these steps for each row of boxes on the alignment page.
-
Click Done.
Hope this should help you out.
Keep me posted, How it goes!
Have a great day!
Cheers:)
