Hi,
I need a regionalisation request for my printer.
I have an HP Deskjet 2510, with original 301 cartridge .
Here, in new caledonia, i found 61 cartridge, defined as compatible cartridge .
When installing new cartridge , a compatibility error poped up.
Can i have the procedure to change the region of the printer please ?
Thank you for your help

Hi @Florine687,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. I will surely help you with the Regional reset.
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello Rachel,
Thank you for your response. I have indeed moved to another country. I meet the prerequisites to perform the "regional reset":
- The printer is connected via a USB cable.
- I have installed the full printer software on my computer.
- The original cartridges have been reinserted into the printer.
- The HP Smart App is installed, and I was able to launch it and log in with my HP account.
What are the next instructions? I tried to look through the HP Smart App, but I didn't find anything regarding a "region reset."
Thank you for your help!
Best regards, Florine
