Product: Deskjet 3755

I connected my printer to my phone via the HP Plugin app. It did not ask me for a password when I first set it up but when I went back the next day it asked me for a password. I do not have a password on the box or in the directions or anything connected to the printer when I took it out of the box. Is there a generic password that all these printers use?

Hi,

The printer does not have any preconfigured password.

 

The default username which cannot be changed is admin (all lower case)

 

Try using admin with a password you may select for the printer, also try using admin with your Wi-Fi password (which wrongly typing the Wi-Fi password as an administrator password might be a common error to cause a such).
