Hi BeemerBiker - Thanks so much for your help!
The issue with the "Improper Shutdown," and how I entered into the loop in the first place, is the touchscreen doesn't respond to any touches. Zero.
I can't hit "OK" to dismiss that, and nothing else responds to any pressure.
It's almost the screen isn't connected to the printer any longer. Totally dead.
So using the touchscreen to access that hidden menu for a reset isn't an option for me.
Any other thoughts?
I'm totally ready to pull the trigger on another printer.
