Have OfficeJet Pro X451dn; been working fine for years. Moved to new location. In old location, printer was hardwired to router so as to provide home network availability (ASUS AC3100). In new location, router is not in same room as router. Looking for options to keep printer on network wirelessly. Could USB to workstation and share printer, but not liking that idea.
Open to options, the least complicated the better; and always, the most dependable and secure go to the top of the list.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Your printer only supports wired ethernet networking or a USB connection, it does not offer any wireless capabilities and must be connected with a cable.
An ethernet cable would be ideal, else sharing a USB printer would be an alternative indeed.
Other than that the only option would be using an additional accessory, such as the 1200w Print Server which supports your printer and allows getting wireless capabilities with it:

Hi,
It is advertised as mobile intended but it works with Windows and Mac computers using the HP ePrint software:
The HP ePrint software is supported on Windows 7 or any later Windows OS version, including Windows 10:
