I replaced both my ink cartridges as before, ran my print test, and yuck!
I have followed all the print tests, done the cleanings reccomended and in the tools section of the printer, left the cartridge out of printer with copper side up in the air for hours and even nearly 24 hours, and still I can't get it to work. Do I just have a bad cartridge? This printer is maybe nearly 2 years old with no prior problems. I don't have the receipt or package so I don't think Wal-Mart is going to let me exchange it.

Yes, it could be a bad cartridge. Does the same happen with a copy?

I recommend you contact the HP Support Team as this could be a hardware or a cartridge issue.
