This is a new printer that only prints 1/4 sized documents. I can’t increase the font size of the documents. How do I get the documents to print full size.

This is frequently the result of an error in the Scale setting.

Make sure Scale (in print dialog, main print menu, or Page Setup) is not set to zero and select the scale you want for the job.

I’ve posted the photo below. I’m printing from an iPad and I don’t have the ability to scale the print size other than full size (which doesn’t have an affect).

OK, printing from iPad using a print application.  Name of Application?

In your supplied image (previous post):  The "print preview" looks correct in the application.

Looking at the image:

Is that really the size of the paper selection?  8x11 - is it inches?   Letter / standard US size: 8.5x11 inches.

Now I am not sure I correctly understood the original question .

  • The output on paper is the whole document shoved up in the corner of the paper?

OR

  • The output on paper is a quarter of the document, for example, chopped at right side and bottom?

What happens (what changes) if you use the "Fit ot Page" or "Fill Page" sizing?

Thanks for being so patient. I’m printing from either Apple iPad’s native app or I mostly use printer pro. In every case the page prints in full but in little tiny print. I’ll send a photo.

Consider trying the following - I don't know much about this one either; HP Smart works fine on my iPad Pro.

I do not see this kind of "tiny" output when I print using HP Smart.  Admittedly, we do not print the same files.

HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS)

Apple Store - HP Smart

iOS printing is, like using my (well loved) iPad, a "secondary" means of using a computing / tablet device.  I know just enough to "get along", and that includes the printing application / setup.  Rats.

Thanks for pointing me to HP Smart. Not quite as smart as it needs to be though. It prints to the margins on all but the right side. There it’s cut off and wraps to the next line (pic below).
