HP Deskjet 3632
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Like the title says, I just purchased a new HP Deskjet 3632 from Walmart on Mar 23rd, 2020. When I first installed the printer it worked fine, then after a few hours it froze up and I was unable to connect to the printer (said it was offline). I tried pressing and then holding down the power button to try and power cycle it, but it was completely frozen with all the power and wifi buttons lit up. I had to unplug the printer and replug it in for my computer to find it again and reconnect. Then again the same problem. It seems if I dont use the printer for a couple hours i freezes up and becomes non-responsive. Only solution is to unplug and replug each time I want to print. I tried returning it to Walmart under their 30-day return policy, but due to COVID-19 they are not accepting any returns at all of opened products.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.

Let me know if this helps.

After unplugging and plugging the printer back in, again, I checked for a firmware update but it is already up-to-date.

"The printer is up to date.

No new updates are available this time."

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
