@fluffybongo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- How is the print quality of color? Is it faded or smeared or missing?
- Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Make sure the protective plastic tape from the new ink cartridge is removed before inserting it into the printer.
Check the estimated ink levels to make sure the printer is reading the ink cartridges.
Clean the printhead

On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon
.

Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page, and then evaluate the results.

On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon

Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.
If the issue persists, perform step 6 from this document.
