HP Smart Tank 551 Printer

Hi everyone,

 

I am on my 3rd replacement printer, HP Smart Tank 551.  And upon setup of this one after I poured all the ink into the tanks, my Magenta one has a light blinking over it saying no ink in it.  So I cannot go any further with setup and installing cartridges because of it.  I am in contact with HP but so far the only solution was to unplug and hold down the power button for 30 seconds to try and reset which did not work.  

I am so frustrated at this point as I cannot even use this printer now.  The previous 2 kept giving a black ink cartridge error message and had to constantly open up and take out and put back in to get it to print. 

Has anyone had to deal with the ink issue in these 2 year ink printers??  If so please help!
