HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3830 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello and good morning,

I have bought the "HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3830 All-in-One Printer" a while ago, and haven't opened it.

Today, I opened the box and installed the printer, with the cartridges that came within the box (sealed in official HP seal and all).

The test print was okay (Photo #1), and then I had to scan that page for alignment, that went fine.

After the isntalling, I tried my first print, in black ink (I don't usually use the other colors) and got the super streaky page that is Photo #2.

I then decided that maybe the problem lays within the ability of the printer to print via the Wi-Fi, so I had printed out a template page via the printer itself, and it came out great, but hasn't any black ink within (Photo #3).

So, I tried to print my black and white document again, and got the exact same Photo #2.

Then I tried the printer quality check, which cam out awful, missing most of the black ink, but no because of the lack of any of it (the lines that were printed are not faded at all) Photo #4.

Twice again I have printed the quality check, and got the exact same result (same three half lines appearing, other missing).

I am clueless, the cartridges are new, and came with the printer.

If my trial and error tells me anything, it's that the black ink or something that is responsible for telling it what to do is not working.

Unfortunately, my warranty is over, although the product is brand new from the box, so bringing it back to the store is useless.

Please help me,

Thanks,

After going through all the posts in this subject on the website, and trying all your solutions to no avail,

I've decided to clean the place you do not allow to cartridge, it worked sort of okay.

Now I can see most of the printer that I didn't know existed in the alignment page.

Still not perfect, the bottom is completely clipped from the print, but almost no streaky lines and my prints are a bit blurry. I'm still looking forward to any solution.

This is what I get out of photo #2 now:
