hp Smart Tank 5000 printer Gives me error message after filling the ink and installing printhead. Printheads I used are M0H60A and M0H51A. Did I use the right printhead? Thanks!

I understand you've encountered an issue with your new HP Smart Tank 5000 printer after installing the ink and printheads. Let's address your concern about the printheads:

 

The HP Smart Tank 5000 printer typically uses specific printhead models compatible with its series. According to HP's official specifications, 

 

the Smart Tank 5000 series uses the following printhead models:

  1. Black Printhead: M0H60A
  2. Color Printhead: M0H51A

These are the correct printhead models for your printer, so you did use the right printheads. If you're getting an error message after installing them, here are some steps you can take:

Ensure Proper Installation: Double-check that the printheads are securely installed. Sometimes, improper installation can trigger error messages.

Restart the Printer: Power off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then power it back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

Update Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for updates through the printer's control panel or HP Smart app. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Check for Obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions in the printer that could be causing the error.
