Recently set up my deskjet 2722e, it came with two cartridges, a back and a colour. They printer set up went smoothly with no issues but comes up on the printer to say I have no coloured ink and will not print or copy anything in colour. I pulled the cartridge out and the little plastic tab with the connector pins are missing off of it but they are on the black cartridge like normal… do they send you blank colour carriages and you need to buy them??? Or did I get a dud? I rubbed my finger on the bottom of it and there was definitely coloured ink on my finger but without the pins it won’t talk to the printer and use colour as it thinks there’s no cartridge.
