HP ENVY Pro 6475 All-In-One Printer

The Printer runs through diagnostic & fix, no problems.  Prints test page.  The supply status shows cartridges full to new.  Goes through process like it is printing a word document up, but nothing on the paper?

I understand your HP ENVY Pro 6475 printer is experiencing an issue where it appears to be printing, but nothing is actually coming out on the paper. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

 

  • Check Paper Tray: Ensure that the paper tray is loaded with the correct type and size of paper. Make sure the paper is not wrinkled, folded, or curled, as this can cause printing problems.
  • Verify Ink Levels: Although the supply status shows the cartridges are full, it's possible that there could be an issue with the cartridges or the ink delivery system. Try removing the cartridges, checking them for any signs of damage or blockages, and reinserting them firmly into the printer.
  • Clean Print Heads: Sometimes, print heads can become clogged with dried ink, which can prevent proper printing. Most printers have a utility for cleaning the print heads. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings menu.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing issues. You can usually update drivers through the printer settings menu on your computer or by visiting the HP website and downloading the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, simply restarting both the printer and your computer can resolve connectivity issues or glitches that may be causing the problem.
