I am trying to print HP Officejet 5746 that has an error: Ink Cartridges Problem. I am asked to remove and reinstall the the indicated ink cartridge. I have the correct ink, the ink is not empty, and I have cleaned the nodes.

Which ink cartridge has this error? Try single cartridge mode to determine the defective ink cartridge.
Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Make sure that the cartridges are compatible
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Update the printer firmware

Perform solution two and three mentioned in this document.
