Office jet 6978 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When trying to print blue there are horizontal lines in the image.  Just random spacing.  Tried cleaning the print head.  Changed multiple cartridges.   All colors that don't use the blue cartridge print fine.  But anything using the blue cartridge will have random lines or sometimes no ink at all for most of the image.

Yes I already tried all of those steps.  I'm afraid the print head is probably bad.  Looks like I will need to buy a new printer as that is half the cost of replacing the print head.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Have you tried these steps yet?

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Have a great day!
