The firmware update of my Officejet 5230 printer failed. The printer is now locked and displays only this message: A problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem.
With the PC it is impossible to establish a two-way communication with the device.
I tried to turn the printer off and on, to disconnect it for a while and reconnect it, but nothing is always blocked with that message.
Please help me how can I solve?

Hi @Marekam
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you
Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
