Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Have had printer for about a year. Used a few times then went to setup on new computer. Printed off a few pages with only color showing, NO BLACK INK. Ran through almost EVERY forum on HP.com suggesting going through all 19 steps for cleaning printer. Bought new cartridges. ran clean printhead about 4 times in the last 3 days. Drained the new cartridges, and STILL NO BLACK PRINT!

Found a HP Support link online that said do a copy, instead of a print, to see if it is a driver issue. Ran a copy, and now getting a "Printhead Problem - There is a problem with the Printhead."

No additional information provided.

Ran through HP online website to update driver and firmware. Downloaded both, but computer said printer is already up to date.

PLEASE HELP!!!

@ritchie636, Welcome to HP Support Community!

This could be an issue with the ink cartridge or the ink system of the printer.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
