I dont have a Paper/Output button to click on ..if i did  , then i click the one following PaperSize.. unless i use fax ..of course youre showing a window for the hp officejet 4630.. mine happens to be officejet 7610 .. most likely i guess i just dont have that option ..Oh the joy .. but what i can do to change size , i go to Devices and Printers , click my HP officejet 7610 series , click Printer Service Proberties , click/Create a new form , type a 'form name' ,  also give type in dimensions in the Form description (measurements) .. but the 'Apply' button never turns on for me to click .. But the 'OK' button is ..I can also ckick the 'Save Form' button .. and it shows it in the list of all the different sizes of paper to print , But when i go to my program to print that size just isnt there..im actually trying to print a 13" x30" document from this printer ..it can print up to 13" x 19".. soo , im irritated . any ideas ?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Custom-size media is not supported in Windows. Are you on a MAC?

  • Are you Using the ADF or the Input tray to feed the custom size papers?
  • This printer supports 76.2 to 330 mm (3.0 to 13.0 inches) wide and 127 to 1118 mm (5.0 to 44.0 inches) long from the Input tray and 127 to 216 mm (5.0 to 8.5 inches) wide and 241 to 305 mm (9.5 to 12.0 inches) long from the ADF.
  • Update the printer firmware, Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Update MAC OS, click here to know how.

To create a custom paper size from the Print menu on a MAC, follow these steps:

  1. Load the custom-size paper into the paper input tray.

  2. Open the item you want to print.

  3. Click File, and then select Print.

  4. In Paper Size, select Manage Custom Sizes.

The Custom Paper Sizes window displays.

    Selecting Manage Custom Sizes

  5. In the Custom Paper Sizes window, click the plus sign  to create a new paper size, double-click the default untitled name, and then type a new name for the custom paper size.

    NOTE:

Use a different, unique name for the new custom paper size. Do not use an existing paper size name for any new custom paper size names because it overrides the existing preset. For example, if a custom paper size is namedA4, then the existing A4 paper size is no longer available as a choice.

    Paper Size Name

  6. In the Paper Size section, type the dimensions of the custom paper in the Width and Height text boxes, and then set the margins, if desired.

    1. Paper Size - 13" wide and 30" long

    2. Margins

  7. Click OK.

  8. In the print preview window, select the new custom paper size.

Example of the print preview window with the custom paper size selected

  9. Change print settings, if desired, and then click OK or Print to print the document.

Note: This video is apllicable to a HP OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One series.

Let me know how this goes.

I have gotten around this very annoying problem by:

 0) Starting a New Printer installation,

 1) Manually installing HP Photosmart B8500 Series with the built-in Windows driver at the same network IP address where the 7610 is connected (I presume this will work with USB-connected printers as well).

 2) In the Properties... Adding a Printing Shortcut named "Architectural B (12x18)" with the correct paper size under the Features tab

 3) Printing happily on B-sized sheets for years.

The Windows built-in driver for Photosmart works faster and better than the one supplied by HP for the 7610 printer.  The two drivers (7610 and the Photosmart) evidently can coexist, and they do not conflict with each other.
