I need to HARD RESET my OfficeJet Pro 6835. Some kid staying at our house put a password in that he cannot remember. Anyone know how to do this? Email me at [Edited]

@DrWJSchmidt, welcome to HP Support Community!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Keep me posted.
Cheers 🙂

Well I don't think they want the instructions just out there floating around so anyone could walk up to one of these printers in a public setting and reset it. You can msg. me privately using the letter looking icon at the top right of the screen to the left of your login name.
