Hi @CharlesN5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Power Supply:
- Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and a working power outlet. Avoid using power strips or surge protectors initially, as they can sometimes cause power issues.
Inspect the Power Cord:
- Check the power cord for any visible damage. If the cord or plug is damaged, it might need to be replaced.
Perform a Power Reset:
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet.
- Wait for approximately 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer and a functioning power outlet, and try to power on the printer.
Use a Different Outlet:
- Try plugging the printer into a different power outlet to rule out issues with the current outlet.
Check the Power Module:
- If your printer uses an external power module, make sure it is properly connected. Consider testing with a different power module if one is available.
Verify Control Panel:
- Check if the power button or control panel lights are flickering or showing any signs of life, which might indicate an internal error.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
