I am trying to install a previously installed OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus on a new desktop PC running Win 7 Pro 64 using a wireless connection through my wifi router.
On the old desktop, also Win 7 Pro 64, I had the options for both the Network 8600 printer and a Fax Network 8600 printer. On the new PC I can get the Network 8600 printer to install and work just fine; but there is no Fax Network 8600 printer option shown.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the softwre to no avail. Any suggestions on how to get the Fax Network 8600 printer option to show so I can use it? Thanks.

Hi,
The HP Universal Fax Driver shoud resove the problem:
Download and install the HP UFD below:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL60874/ds-146586-1/HPUFDDriver.zip
To install extract the ZIP first, then open the folder, locate Setup.exe, right click it and select Run as Admin.
Onse insalling send any print job and print to the HP Universal Fax Driver.
Within the shown screen select Network Devices, confirm any prompt and select the printer.
Check the box at the bottom to create a fax queue for your printer and send a fax from your computer, it will add a specific Fax queue for the 8600.
Hope that helps,
Shlomi
