OfficeJet Pro 8720 prints half page, then "There is a problem with the printer or print system. Turn the printer OFF, then On. If you continue to have get this message, contact HP. 0x61000020"

I have also seen "the printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. 0xc19a0031 ... but got that after I pulled replaced head (so perhaps my fault), so redid and so far haven't seen that message again.

I have also received "the paper size detected 0 by the printer in tray 1 does not match..." All I can say here is that perhaps the paper slightly "thick" 24lb i was using caused a burb.. so I changed paper to 20 lb and it seems to be OK (for now?).

- I have turned off the printer, disconnected pwr (waited 1 minute), updated software, pulled/reset ink cartridges and ink Head, ran "clean head" and the results page the head cleaner generates prints fully/looks OK.  However, I couldn't finish alignment. The Printer Status report also fully prints OK/full page.

The printer works/prints a few pages occasionally, but then back to my very first line above "There is a problem with...." and there's a partially printed page still in the printer

This appear to be a hardware issue with the printhead

If you have already cleaned the printhead, try updating the Firmware. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

If the issue persists please contact HP Support for Service Options

I had already updated the firmware, cleaned heads, reset ink-head and cartridges (pulled and reset ink head and cartridge), pulled pwr plug for 1 minutes+..  The printer report prints in full OK as does the clean head report.. I could not however successfully finish head alignment (perhaps this is the red-flag). When I pull the pwr for a minute it sometimes works/prints oK for a couple jobs , but then back to the "there is a problem...".  I reached out to HP..so far no response. BTW - I've decided that I will never ever again buy anything from a company that doesn't have proper (no fee) basic support.
