I recently purchased and installed a new HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer. After the install, when I attempt to print either from a software product like MS Word, PC Paint or from the internet I receive an error message that states the printer is out of paper. The printer paper tray is half full of paper and it is HP paper. I have removed the paper tray and checked for any blockage or problems with a paper jam and there are none. In order to successfully print something, after receiving the out of paper error message, I slightly remove the paper tray and then immediately replace it and the printer responds by printing the requested document.
Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi @Moongazer1258,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that has a out of paper error.
Make a copy on the printer standalone and let me know if you have the same issue. (Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)
If the hardware is working fine, please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.
C) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot.
