For many years I used an OfficeJet 100 as my mobile printer, whenever I had to print some document at a customer site. This does not happen very often, but on the occasion. This OfficeJet 100 has moved on to the big scrap pile in heaven and I was provided with an OfficeJet 200 as replacement. To my very big surprise I found out that this printer does not support Bluetooth printing by default and needs an external dongle in order to do so. So I ordered this dongle, installed it and it’s been recognised immediately. I was even able to pair the printer with my Windows 10 laptop. Unfortunately Windows 10 (64 Bit) reports that there is no driver available for this printer. I can connect to the printer on WLAN or USB through the HP Smart App with no problem. With Bluetooth it only shows up as some kind of generic printer (using some kind of default Windows driver) which does not even show up in any application to choose as a printer. In some old posting from 2019 I found the hint to use HP Smart App, which actually is already installed. But it seems like that this App does not support connecting through Bluetooth. The only choices there are WLAN and USB Cable.
Has anyone successfully connected this printer through Bluetooth lately?

Actually, Wi-fi direct print is not a viable option, as I would have to connect my laptop to the hotspot of the printer. Our IT-Department has disabled this option for safety reasons. I can only connect to a company certified wif-fi network. So it's seems its using a USB cable or nothing, as bluetooth doesn't work (any more). That's inconvenient as well as disappointing. Oh well..
