Hi,
I've got an issue with an Officejet 200.
-Wifi direct doesn't work very well, it can work well for a couple of days but then it stops working, removing and installing hp software seems to solve the issue but still, not very practical, the settings on the printer itself also have a tendency to misbehave.
-I bought the LM506 dongle, hoping to avoid wifi direct, the printer sees the dongle and windows 10 can connect to it,
however, windows 10 says no driver is available, trying to link the driver thru device management also doesn't work.
Is there a special driver for the LM506 ? Is there a known driver version that does work ?
The app that get's installed with the printer anly want to connect the printer thru usb or wifi in nog direct mode, nog very usefull, any special apps for the LM506 with the officejet so it does work.
Any experience with either the WF-100W from epson or the IP110 from Canon, both also only offer wifi direct but maybe the drivers are better ?
We were very happy with the hp 100 printer we had before this one, has worked flawless on bluetooth for 5 years.
thx

@brampie, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Try installing the HP Smart App and then add your printer. Refer to this document HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Windows 10) for help.
The connectivity to the dongle is not a reliable one and I would recommend you to directly connect it to the router or you can use the WiFi Direct feature on the HP Smart App.
There is no specific driver available for the dongle connectivity.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
Cheers 🙂
