Product: HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - G510n

My Officejet 4500 makes a loud "banging noise" when first powered on for no apparent reason. After banging stops the prtr works as advertised with no addtl problems. Is it damaging itself ??  Thanx.

ADDTL INFO - with access cover open the banging appears to be near cartridges in lower-right. But since printing looks OK, the cartridges are probably inserted properly. Cartridges move freely by hand. No torn paper or other obstruction is visible.
