I recently replaced the black ink cartridge. I tried to print, then got the following error code : 0xb81e1c92
I pulled out the paper that was 1/2 printed, and tried to power down the printer. It would not shut down by pressing the power button, so I unplugging the device by removing the power cord from the back. When I plugged it back in I saw the hp start up on the screen, but it never progressed. I unplugged it again and now it will not power up at all. I've unplugged overnight and still no change. I've removed the cover on the internal power module, and I can see the green light is on when I plug it in, but nothing happens. I know this is an older printer, but I just bought a $65 ink cartridge replacement pack, so I'd like to try to fix it before I replace it.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand you are not able to print due to this error. A 0xB error indicates a possible hardware issue with the printer. Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer and the carriage is moving freely. Refer to the steps from this document.
For more info on resolving 0x errors, refer to this document - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays If the issue persists, please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
