I have tried all of the recommended steps to clean the printhead and the cartridge. The printer still gives the error of an incorrect cartridge. This is a new pinter that stopped in the middle of using the original packaging cartridge with this message. I have tried replacing it with another HP cartridge and the printer will not recognize this new one. The printer is out of warranty and, of course, this problem occurred after the warranty was up! Is there an update that is necessary?

I see that you have already tried cleaning the printhead and replacing the cartridges and issue persists.

To fix this issue, try manually cleaning the cartridge contacts and reset the printer.
