Product: OFFICEjet 6600

Officejet 6600 will not copy just has HP symbol and says "starting copy..." and the bule signal is rotating aroung the HP symbol on the screen.  I have tried reset as seen in other posts and still not working.  It just suddenly stopped after last print job days ago.

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your printer is stuck on "starting copy" message . I would like to help you resolve this issue.

 

Perform a power reset again.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware.

Click here and refer the document to update the printer firmware.
