I have an Officejet 8025e that needs a factory reset. I never set anything to be locked when I set the printer up originally. However when I went to do the reset it was locked. The reason that I wanted to do the reset was because I can't change the wireless settings either as they're locked as well. I really need to get this taken care of. How do I factory reset the printer without having to use the lock password, which I do not know? Thank you!

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
