I'm working with a remote user who has an Officejet 8600. He replaced the yellow ink cartridge and now the printer won't print. He already tried buying another ink cartridge but that one doesn't work either. He's reseated it several times. Is there a good troubleshooting guide or can anyone suggest how to troubleshoot? At what point do we decide the printer needs to be replaced?
Thanks.

The user is not able to make a copy or test page. It sounds like it was printing fine until he replaced the ink cartridge. There is an error but I don't have it.
The user actually decided to replace the printer. He reseated the ink cartridges and print head, cleaned things, bought another ink cartridge... He basically did everything the online troublshooting guide suggests.

It probably could have been a hardware issue with the printer. Thank you for the update.
