After buying a full set of ink cartridges, and loading the one (Cyan) that needed replacing, the Printer gives a message saying "There is a problem with the printer or ink system". Turning off and on again several times has not solved this, and the web-site will not give me a phone numbert to ring - apparent;ly since it is indicating that my model of printer has 'expired', even though it has been working perfectly well up to now. Anyone got any ideas??

Since the error appeared right after replacing the cyan cartridge, I’d start with that cartridge. Remove it and check that the protective tape is fully removed and the contacts are clean, then reinstall it firmly. If you still have the old cyan cartridge, try putting it back temporarily to see if the error changes.
If the printer gives the same “problem with the printer or ink system” message with different cartridges, the issue could be with the printhead or the cartridge contacts/carriage rather than the ink itself. I’d avoid repeatedly power cycling it and check the printhead/carriage area for any obvious damage or ink buildup.
