Officejet 9015 Stuck in Firmware Update Loop

My All in one printer 9015 is stuck in loop

Download Unsuccessful The printer update could not be downloaded Toush "retry" to start the download again. Touch "OK' to exit

Says Downloading 00% and then loops back into Download unsuccessful screen.

Did all the unplug, reset, HP diagnose etc with no progress or resolution!

Pls help! Need to know if can be resolved before I need to do billing again for my business!

After beating my head up against the wall for two days now with the very same issue, I finally found a way of speaking to a live tech support person at HP by calling [Personal Information Removed]; and even though the warranty on my HP 9015 Officejet Pro had expired in 2021,  had an absolutely amazing customer service rep,  who patiently  walked me through cancelling the download update prompt by doing  a  hard partial reset on the printer via the printer's menu screen (NOT with the HP Smart App); re-loading and installing the printer driver on my computer; and lastly, turning off the auto-update feature from the advance options (also only via  the printer's menu screen).  In order to facilitate the fix, the service rep switched us to a video-conferencing call to guide me through accessing the printer's advanced setting menus and then gained remote access to the computer to delete and reinstall the drivers.

Since I posted my previous reply on how to contact HP's live tech support to fix the download loop error on the OfficeJet 9015 printer, it appears that the Forum administrator has  blocked out the 800 number as personal information.  As such, here is the link I  found on Google that provided me with the number to call  HP Phone Number | Call Now & Skip the Wait (gethuman.com)
