HP Officejet 6835
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer worked fine until I had to swap out the black ink cartridge when it ran low.  I used a genuine HP XL cartridge.  There is absolutely no black ink being produced.  All other colors are printing fine.  I have both cleaned and aligned the printheads, reset the printer (unplugged while on - rest - plug back in),  plugged directly into wall, changed all color cartridges to new, and tried a second new black cartridge,  all with no impact on the problem.

@Kimberly19,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

This looks like a possible hardware failure, I would recommend you contact our HP support team to get the printer service or possible upgrade options.

HP support can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
