  • I have a new HP OfficeJet Pro 6970. I am able to install and print, but then it goes offline.
  • I have read a lot of online suggestions and have spent hours on the phone with HP support.
  • I have removed the printer and installed fresh several times. Powered on/off printer and router several times. Assigned static IP to printer and installed on PC by IP address. But the problem continues.
  • I have PCs running Win 7, Win 10 and latest XOS. My router is an integrated cable moden/router by Ubee.
  • Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for these suggestions. Unfortunately, still not working.

I have followed these steps several times. Have also had HP support remote into my PC and "fix" the issue. Printer still goes offline after being idle for a short period.

I am still looking for help and would appreciate any suggestions.
