Good Morning. I recently set up a new wireless network. I removed the wireless network to which my Officejet Pro 8600 N911a had been connected and from which I could successfully print from either my iPhone X (iOS v. 13.6.1). I successfully reconnected my Officejet Pro 8600 N911a to the new wireless network (2.4G). I'm working on a MacBook Air in Catalina 10.15.6. The printer is seen in System Preferences, Printers and Scanners. The printer is also seen on my phone. However, I cannot print from either my Air or my phone. The print icon opens on my Air and just hangs. On my phone the message is "Printing to 'Officejet Pro 8600 [92AAE8]' Contacting Printer" and it just hangs. Thanks for your help.

Hi @Arrabella,
I'd like to help!
Try the below suggestions-
To prepare your printer for a wireless connection, restart the printer, computer, and router.
- Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
- Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
- Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
- Turn on the computer.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
