I have installed all new ink cartridges. I am receiving the cartridge problem error: Until cartridges are replaced, make sure the printer is turned on... One or more cartridges are missing or damaged. Nothing is missing or damaged. I even replaced and put another new set in. Could I have a printhead problem? Your assistance is needed. Thank you.

Hi sunny45,
I see that you're having problems with your printer. I would take a look at the document below.
Let me know how it goes.

A couple of months ago we bought an Office Pro 8610~For first time, we had to replace the cartridge~the Cyan and Black were replaced just days ago~Now I get this message which says that there is no cartridge inside and that both ink levels are low~There are two brand new HP cartridges inside the machine, but it is not recognizing one of them~I am so aggravated first that I am forced to buy HP cartridges only~Second even if a cartridge is empty, I should be able to print only on black, but no the printer wont let me~Third, we paid a lot money for a printer not to be working 2 months later. There are brand new HP cartridges there. On top of that, the software does not allow to clean, align, or do anything to the cartridges to try to fix the problem,

The support pages have been restructured which broke some of the links. The document can now be found here.
