Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am not able to connect to my wireless network on my HP Officejet Pro 8610. My wireless has both a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz band. When I try to connect to the 2.4GHz band it says that it is not able to connect. It will connect just fine when I connect it to the guest network, but won't work on the normal 2.4GHz network.

The settings on my router are setup to allow all MAC addresses, so the filtering is not blocking anything.

I have reset the router back to factory settings, but still is not working.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try to get this to work?

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'm here to help.

HP Officejet Pro 8610 supports only 2.4GHz. You need to allow your router to broadcast both (dual) bands which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Enable the 2.4G band with a different SSID and connect.

You may reach out to your Internet Service Provider for these settings.

Hope this helps!
