After following the instructions provided by HP on this forum my test envelope printed without any problems EXCEPT that the return address printed 5/8" to the right of the left edge of the envelope. My last HP printer would print much closer to the left edge, like 1/4" ...

HP Recommended

The print margin is .65 of a inch for envelopes on the 8610.

For more info consult the spec sheet from HP.
