I have had this printer for about 5 years and recently. got the error message" Missing or failed print head - The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed". I fallowed the steps outlined in the help to unplug the printer and reseat the printhead. At first the printhead would move from the storage location so the ink cartridges and printhead could be removed. Now the same error message comes up but with the error code: 0xc19a0013. Also the printhead will no longer move form the storage area when opening the ink cartridge access door. Turning off the printer or unplugging the power cable does not help. The error message returns as soon as it powers back up. Is there anything else that can be done to clear the error message and get the printer working again or get the printhead to move hen opening the access door to change the cartridges?

@SH1981, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This seems like a hardware issue with the printer. The print carriage is stuck and not moving.
Look for jammed paper inside the printer as shown in this document to clear a carriage jam issue. If the carriage moves, perform step 2 from this document to resolve the issue with the printhead.
If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
