Hi @plwj,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Officejet Pro 9025e printer. The "Problem with Supply System" error can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions.
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the Cyan cartridge is securely and correctly installed. Open the printer cover, remove the cartridge, and then reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off your printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This simple step can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
Update Firmware:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can often fix bugs and improve the overall performance of the printer.
Clean Cartridge Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source.
- Remove the Cyan cartridge.
- Clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridge and the printer with a lint-free cloth.
- Reinstall the cartridge and turn the printer back on.
Check for Obstructions:
- Make sure there are no obstructions in the cartridge area that may be preventing proper contact.
Use Genuine HP Cartridges:
- Ensure that you are using genuine HP cartridges. Third-party or refilled cartridges may not be recognized properly by the printer.
Perform a Printer Reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
